Another Great Auction 16th December
A single figurative bronze sculpture depicting the bust and upper torso of a young person, possibly a child, wearing a cap. The figure is rendered with both hands raised toward the ears, suggesting a listening or playful pose. The bronze exhibits a warm, dark brown patina with coppery highlights. The sculpture is mounted via a square bronze armature piece onto a rough-hewn, light-colored plinth, which appears to be stone or a composite material designed to simulate rough stone. A faint inscription, possibly a signature, reading “Amorga” is visible on the side surface of the rough-hewn base.
The overall height is approximately 12 inches.
