Another Great Auction 16th December
An original promotional poster for The Who’s seminal album, Live at Leeds (1970-1971). The poster features a high-contrast black and white graphic design utilizing a silhouette of a guitarist swinging his instrument above the bold white text “The Who,” “MAXIMUM R&B,” and “LIVE AT LEEDS.” This design is strongly associated with the original album release and Track Records promotion. In the lower left quadrant, the poster displays the “TRACK RECORD” logo and the catalog number “2406 001.” The poster is presented under glazing within a simple black frame and utilizes a wide white matte board.
