Another Great Auction 16th December
A bottle of James Eadie’s Trade Mark X Blended Scotch Whisky, presented in its original black and gold presentation carton. The clear glass bottle contains an amber-colored spirit bottled at 45.6% vol., equivalent to 80º Proof, and a volume of 70cl (700ml). The bottle features embossed branding directly on the glass, including JAMES EADIE’S and the large ‘X’ trade mark. A lower paper label confirms the company was Established 1854, Registered 1877, and Revived 2017. The accompanying rectangular carton is matte black with prominent gold lettering and includes a historical quote attributed to Alfred Barnard, 1888. The bottle is sealed with a gold-toned closure.
