Another Great Auction 16th December
The lot consists of one sealed bottle of James Eadie Trademark X Blended Scotch Whisky and its accompanying presentation box. The whisky is a blended Scotch bottled at 45.6% alcohol by volume, corresponding to 80° Proof. The clear glass bottle contains 70cl (700ml) of bright amber spirit and is sealed with a gold foil cap bearing the name “JAMES EADIE LTD.” The labels and the black cardboard presentation box feature highly contrasting gold text and the brand’s primary logo, a large ‘X’ trade mark. Inscriptions note the brand was Established 1854, Registered 1877, and Revived 2017. The box also includes the quote: “a wee drappie’ of Mr. Eadie’s own blend… – ALFRED BARNARD, 1885.” The product is blended and bottled in Scotland.
