Another Great Auction 16th December
A Gents Rotary two-tone wristwatch, identified in the market as the Oyster Explorer Style, constructed with a stainless steel case and bracelet accented by gold-tone plating. The watch features a champagne-colored dial with applied gold-tone baton indices, Arabic numerals at the 6 and 9 positions, and a magnified date window (cyclops) at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is inscribed “ROTARY” below the 12 o’clock marker and “SWITZERLAND 1895” near the 6 o’clock marker. The stainless steel caseback is engraved with “ROTARY,” “SWITZERLAND 1895,” the reference number GB00008/03/25281, and the designation “DOLPHIN STANDARD.” The bracelet closure is marked “STAINLESS STEEL.”
