A single gunpowder flask constructed from brass or bronze, identified through market consensus as being in the Ottoman Style. The curved body is richly embellished with extensive etched or stamped decoration, featuring intricate arabesque designs, scrollwork, and stylized cartouches containing script that appears to be Arabic or Persian. The flask is fitted with a dark metal dispensing lever mechanism located near the neck. It retains its original dark leather carrying straps, which are attached via small metal buckles.
