A single oblong vase constructed of white opaline or milk glass. The form features a rounded body transitioning to a narrow neck and a flared rim finished with a gilt band. The body is decorated with a detailed polychrome transfer and hand-painted depiction of a colorful, long-billed bird, resembling a sunbird, perched on a brown branch with green foliage and small reddish-orange flowers. The decoration is executed in a naturalist style. No manufacturer’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
Visible height measured against the ruler is approximately 10.5 cm (4 1/8 inches).
