A collection of four items consisting of three polychrome fine porcelain collector figurines and one associated limited edition certificate. The figurines are attributed to Wedgwood Fine Porcelain, Made in England, and belong to “THE GALLERY OF ENGLISH COSTUME” series, designed by Pauline Parsons. The figures depict women dressed in elaborate Turn of the Century (Victorian/Edwardian) costume, executed with polychrome enamel decoration primarily in soft pastel shades of blue, pink, and cream. The bases of the figurines are stamped with titles: “Afternoon Promenade” (marked © FM 1989), “Enchanted Evening” (marked © FP 1988), and “THE TURN OF THE CENTURY BALL” (1899). The base of “THE TURN OF THE CENTURY BALL” is further marked as commissioned by Spink and indicates it is a limited edition of 10,000, with this specific piece numbered 0391. The accompanying paper certificate confirms the limited edition status and the number 0391.
