A single vintage costume jewelry brooch of circular openwork form, constructed from a dark silver-tone base metal. The design features a central setting holding one large, round, faceted bright yellow glass or paste stone. This central element is surrounded by an openwork structure alternating between seven curved, trapezoidal cabochons of mottled green material, likely faux serpentine or jasper, and seven square metal settings featuring an open knot-like motif. The overall aesthetic is reminiscent of Scottish pebble jewelry. The reverse of the brooch features a functional pin and a simple C-clasp closure. No identifying marks or text are visible.
