A single antique miniature dagger or sword pin, identified through market consensus as an Italian Micromosaic Jabot Pin, dating to the Victorian or Edwardian era. The object is constructed of gold-toned metal (likely gilt or gold-filled) and features a sharp blade attached to an ornate hilt. The hilt includes a cross-guard and pommel, both decorated with detailed micromosaic panels. The rectangular cross-guard panel depicts white flowers against a turquoise ground, while the oval pommel panel displays a single white flower against a deep red ground, surrounded by openwork spheres. The tapered scabbard is attached to the hilt via a small gold-toned chain. No visible hallmarks or manufacturer’s markings are present.
Overall length of pin component: 6 cm.
