The doll is extensively decorated with intricate beadwork using small glass seed beads in white, orange, green, red, and black. The attire includes a tall, elaborate, cylindrical beaded headdress and complex bead-woven detailing forming a shawl or cape over the shoulders and torso. The black felt skirt and ankle cuffs are trimmed with beadwork. This type of doll represents traditional South African attire.
