A single ethnographic figure identified through market consensus as a Ndebele Beaded Maiden Doll from South Africa. The figure is constructed primarily of small glass seed beads threaded onto a core structure, featuring distinct limbs wrapped in thin, coiled silver-tone metal wire. The doll displays a multicolored beaded headdress utilizing orange, white, and blue beads. The torso is covered in a white lattice pattern of beads. A prominent rectangular apron or skirt panel dominates the lower body, displaying complex geometric patterns rendered in green, black, white, purple, red, and blue beads, framed by a border of orange beads. Additional beaded cuffs are present at the neck, wrists, and ankles.
Approximately 23 cm (9 inches) tall.
