An extensive service of Paragon Fine Bone China in the highly sought-after ‘Athena’ pattern. The collection comprises approximately 131 pieces of dinnerware, teaware, and serving vessels. The material is white bone china, characterized by radially ribbed molding near the rims and decorated with heavy gold gilding forming a complex lacework and scroll border design. The service includes teapots, cups, saucers, various sizes of dinner and luncheon plates, deep bowls, serving platters, gravy boats with underplates, a lidded soup tureen, and handled soup cups. The backstamp visible on the underside confirms the manufacturer and pattern, reading: “By Appointment to H.M. The Queen China Potters, Paragon China Ltd., Stoke-on-Trent, Fine Bone China, Made in England,” confirming its production under a Royal Warrant.
