A single circular brooch in the Scottish Revival style, manufactured by the costume jewelry company Miracle. The piece is crafted from silver-toned metal featuring an intentionally deeply antiqued or tarnished finish. The openwork surround is decorated with highly detailed relief carvings of thistles and foliage. Centrally set in a smooth bezel is a large, faceted stone displaying a deep amber-brown color, commonly referred to as a Cairngorm Brooch style, though the stone is likely glass or crystal imitation. The reverse features a functional safety clasp pin mechanism. The reverse is clearly stamped with the maker’s mark MIRACLE in a rectangular cartouche.
The brooch measures approximately 5.5 cm in diameter.
