The machine features a hand-operated flywheel with a plastic or bakelite handle grip. A circular spool and tension guide at the top is inscribed with the directions THREAD COTTON THUS and BETWEEN WASHERS. A folded and creased paper document is positioned beneath the presser foot, displaying multilingual headings including WARRANTY REGISTRATION, GARANTIEREGISTRIERUNG, and CRATE DE GARANTIE.
