A collection of 41 pieces of English Bone China teaware, comprising items manufactured by two distinct Staffordshire potteries: Royal Vale and H&M Sutherland. The lot includes teacups, saucers, plates, and serving bowls/creamers. The pieces bear two distinct backstamps: “ROYAL VALE BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND” featuring a crown logo, and “H&M SUTHERLAND BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND” featuring a rampant lion logo. The collection features two primary transfer-printed decorative schemes: a bright, multicolored chintz-style floral pattern, and a separate pattern depicting bucolic landscape scenes. All components feature applied gold gilt detailing on the rims, edges, and handles.
