A single volume publication titled British Sporting Prints, edited by John Cadfryn-Roberts and published by The Ariel Press, circa 1955. The volume features reproductive colour plates of sporting scenes by prominent artists including Henry Alken, Robert Pollard, James Barenger, James Pollard, F.C. Turner, and George Stubbs. The cover is bound in paper or thin cardstock and is decorated with an ornate border, equestrian figures, and stylized fox heads. Interior pages include introductory text and high-quality plates, such as the print titled (The right sort.) credited to H. Alken and inscribed TO THE CRACK RIDERS OF ENGLAND. A small handwritten inventory label reading 4178 is affixed to the lower edge of the cover.
