A Mid-Century Murano Art Glass figural vessel, executed in the form of a robust fish. The piece is attributed to Italian production, circa 1960s, consistent with market consensus for this style and technique. The body utilizes a swirling cane or ‘macchia’ technique, incorporating opaque colors including white, maroon, deep green, yellow, black, and blue in vertical patterns. Clear applied glass components form the textured dorsal fin, caudal (tail) fin, and a textured clear base/pectoral fin. The mouth is open and hollowed, indicating functionality as a small vase or vessel. No identifying marks or signatures are visible.
