A commemorative set produced for the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2022. The lot consists of three items: one English fine bone china teacup, one matching saucer, and the original hinged presentation box. The teacup and saucer feature a deep royal purple ground heavily decorated with extensive gold-gilding. The central decoration on both pieces is a detailed depiction of the Royal Coat of Arms. The rim of the teacup bears the inscription, HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II 2022. The underside of the teacup is marked in gold with ENGLISH FINE BONE CHINA, BUCKINGHAM PALACE, PLATINUM JUBILEE 2022, MADE IN ENGLAND, surrounding a crowned emblem. The hinged presentation box is pale lavender and is stamped in gold with the commemorative Platinum Jubilee floral crest and the date 2022.
