The object functions as a vase or planter due to its open throat. The surface features detailed molding replicating the texture of canvas, stitching, laces, and rubber components characteristic of the Chuck Taylor design. The sole exhibits a distinct diamond and crosshatch tread pattern. The underside of the sole bears a small white rectangular sticker marked “1009.”
