A lot of two items comprising an Anglo-Indian style Ebony and Porcupine Quill Catchall and a separate small metal vessel. The circular catchall features a wide, dark wood rim decorated with a dense radial arrangement of thin, cylindrical porcupine quill segments secured between concentric rings of small embedded metal studs. The exterior edge of the tray is carved with a scallop pattern, and the center is recessed, showing a dark patina consistent with use. The second item is a small, silver-toned metal cup or holder, possibly intended as a maté cup or tea glass holder, distinguished by deep, fine horizontal ribbing/corrugation on its body and a smooth, tarnished rim.
