A single mid-century novelty piggy bank constructed of glazed ceramic pottery, commonly attributed to American Bisque or Shawnee Pottery. The piece is formed as a highly stylized, rounded pig standing on four short legs. The white glazed body is decorated with hand-painted details in red and blue. Decoration includes blue painted eyes, red accents on the snout and feet, and multiple red polka dots across the crown of the head. The rear features a painted red curled tail. The bank includes a horizontal coin slot located on the top of the body and a vertical opening for coin removal near the tail. No manufacturer markings or text are visible on the ceramic body.
