A collection of twelve decorative objects carved from banded calcareous stone, commonly identified in the market as Mexican onyx or alabaster. The pieces exhibit natural striations and veining in tones of creamy white, celadon green, rusty brown, and amber. The collection comprises four vases of varying height and silhouette, including two cylindrical forms and two footed urn-shaped vases. The remaining eight pieces include figural and utilitarian items: a stylized animal bust, two small turtle figures, a standing dog or cub figure, a reclining lion figure mounted on a base, a round disc or plate with a central depression, and a complete mortar and pestle set (two pieces). All pieces are hand carved and exhibit a high polish.
