A collection of ceramic tableware, primarily dating from the Mid-Century period. The collection includes one large, scalloped earthenware plate, attributed to the style of Fitz & Floyd, featuring a reticulated border and a central hand-painted motif of various fruits (grapes, apples, peaches, plum), surrounded by colorful floral designs. The remaining six items consist of five ‘wishbone’ or U-tube shaped double egg cups and one rectangular two-compartment dish. The marked items include one bright lime-green glazed double egg cup stamped Carlton Ware ENGLAND on the base and bearing the decal The Top Rank Club. The light mint-green divided dish is stamped Carlton Ware TRADE MARK Made in ENGLAND Hand Engraved & Hand Painted on the reverse, featuring abstract black and gold detailing within the wells. One white glazed double egg cup decorated with painted floral sprigs bears a Bristol Pottery Made in England mark on the base. The lot is completed by two plain brown glazed double egg cups and one white glazed double egg cup with a red geometric pattern.
