A collection of four pieces of antique working footwear, comprising two distinct pairs. The style is consistent with 19th and early 20th Century Lancashire Clogs, known for combining wooden soles with leather components. The first pair consists of traditional sabots featuring a carved light brown wood base with a wide, arched dark brown leather strap secured across the vamp. The second pair are low-cut, dark brown shoes, likely constructed of molded leather or treated material over a rigid base. This second pair is characterized by a smooth, dark surface and includes a small, decorative metallic clasp or buckle located near the instep of each shoe. No specific manufacturer markings or translatable text are visible on either pair.
