A single vintage portable electric phonograph identified as the Philips Disc Jockey Major. The unit is housed in a suitcase-style enclosure covered in a textured tan/beige faux leatherette material designed to mimic lizard or snakeskin. The interior plinth and lid are finished in cream plastic. The plinth features the turntable with a reddish-brown felt mat, a tone arm, and a small red indicator light. The lid contains an integrated speaker protected by a circular metal mesh grille. A coiled white power cord is present, attached to a connector marked with voltage options: 125, 220, and 245. The unit bears a black and gold plaque reading “PHILIPS disc-jockey MAJOR.”
