A nautical boatswain’s pipe, or bosun’s call, constructed of mixed metals. The central tube is copper, while the flat keel and the rounded buoy head are brass or bronze. The buoy head features a clearly embossed stylized anchor motif, a classic nautical marking. The whistle is attached to a length of brass link chain. This type of whistle is historically used for issuing commands aboard naval vessels.
