A single vintage utility whistle attributed to the Acme brand, marked “THE ACME BOY SCOUTS ENGLAND”. The whistle is constructed in a cylindrical, non-pealess style from nickel-plated metal, likely over a brass core. It features a mouthpiece with an attached suspension ring at one end. Integrated into the base cap at the opposite end is a miniature magnetic compass, recessed beneath a glass cover. The body is engraved vertically with the markings: THE ACME BOY SCOUTS ENGLAND.
