A collection of 7 vintage Paper Mate Double Heart Profile ballpoint pens, characteristic of mid-century modern utility writing instruments produced primarily in the 1960s and 1970s. The lot includes pens with lower bodies finished in various colors: black, red, deep green enamel or lacquer, and two shades of brown. Two pens feature fully silver-brushed metal bodies. All instruments utilize chrome-plated metal caps and clips. The clips display the recognizable double-loop or ‘S’-shaped logo, often referred to as the Double Heart Profile. Faint manufacturer’s text, identifying the maker, is visible on the cap bands of the silver-brushed instruments.
