A pair of figural cast metal decorative objects dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, executed in the Aesthetic or Art Nouveau style. Each object is modeled as a small child figure leaning against a central vertical stalk. The stalk terminates in a closed, upright floral bud, suggesting use as a narrow candlestick or spill vase. The circular base is heavily molded with naturalistic detail, including lily pads and various flora. The metal appears to be cast spelter or brass, finished with a dark, rubbed patina consistent with the period. No visible manufacturer’s markings or inscriptions were observed.
