A matched pair of turned hardwood candlesticks, featuring a deep reddish-brown patina. Each candlestick is constructed with a heavily turned, baluster-form standard rising from a wide, circular base. The standard terminates in a tiered neck supporting a spool-shaped socket. The form is reflective of late Victorian or early American decorative styles. The material is stained dark wood, likely mahogany or walnut. No manufacturer stamps or markings are discernible.
