The vessel is molded in the form of a figurative male head, styled in the Black Americana aesthetic. The figure has dark brown skin and wears a reddish-brown kepi or pillbox hat, which serves as the lid. The hat is decorated with a painted black tassel detail. The base of the neck features a molded and painted gray/white collar element. The interior base of the head is marked in black ink 106. The interior of the hat lid is marked 120.
