A vintage rectangular cigarette case constructed from gold-toned base metal, likely brass. The exterior lid features a central rectangular inset color print depicting a traditional English fox hunting scene, showing huntsmen in red coats and a pack of hounds traversing a rural landscape. This central image is framed by a textured or engine-turned border. The case opens via a hinge to reveal a ridged interior compartment designed to hold cigarettes, secured by a hinged, geometric metal retaining clip. No manufacturer’s marks or inscriptions are visible.
