A single antique sporting medal, likely dating to the early-to-mid 20th century, depicting a cricket theme. The circular medal features an ornate, scrolled suspension loop and jump ring. The obverse displays a high-relief scene of a cricket batsman positioned ready to strike the ball before a set of stumps. The reverse is plain and exhibits two distinct, square hallmarks situated along the lower rim, suggesting a silver alloy or base metal construction. The medal is presented in its original, worn red/maroon presentation box, lined internally with mustard-colored velvet and tan paper.
