A pair of ornamental neckware, characteristic of Afghan or Kuchi tribal jewelry styles. The items are constructed on a wide, flexible black textile backing, heavily decorated with metalwork. The pair is intentionally mismatched in metal tone: one cuff is executed in silver-toned white metal, and the other in brass/gold-toned metal. Both cuffs feature wide rectangular metal segments inlaid with multicolored enamel or glass in geometric patterns, primarily featuring red, green, and blue accents. The top and bottom edges of the textile backing are bordered with small red and white stitched beads. Numerous dangling elements, including small metal bells and stamped circular discs, are attached along the lower edge of the metalwork. The cuffs are secured using black textile ties. No visible hallmarks or textual markings are present.
