A single milking stool attributed to the Robin Nance workshop in St Ives, British, Mid-20th Century. This low, utility-style stool features a thick seat constructed from hardwood, likely oak, in a rounded triangular (Reuleaux triangle) shape. The seat is supported by three splayed, tapering round legs. The construction is characteristic of the Nance workshop, utilizing visible wooden dowel plugs securing the legs to the seat surface. The stool is 9 inches tall.
