A collection of disassembled components from an antique English longcase (grandfather) clock, attributed to Latimer Miller of Gateshead, as inscribed on the dial. The lot includes the primary square and arched brass dial plate, featuring a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic minute markings. The dial is constructed from brass and decorated with ornate brass spandrels at the corners and arch. The inscription “Latimer Miller / Gateshead” is visible on a circular plaque within the arch. The collection also comprises two incomplete brass clock movements (cages), a dark metal bell, a winding barrel, one loose decorative brass corner spandrel, and a group of eight various smaller individual brass gears, wheels, and pinions. The overall style is consistent with English clockmaking of the late 18th or early 19th Century.
