A collection of distinct components of vintage communication and audio equipment, likely dating to the mid-20th century and styled for military or industrial use, consistent with WWII-era radio operator gear. The lot includes a pair of operator headphones featuring a black headband and metal earpieces. Also present is a large assembly composed of brown leather strapping, black plastic/bakelite components, and tan cloth-wrapped cabling that terminates in a pronged plug, possibly a throat microphone or harness assembly. Other components include a rectangular black switch or control box attached to a coiled black rubber cable, a cylindrical gray metal handset or microphone piece, and a smaller black cylindrical element. A circular gray metal component is clearly marked TANNOY around its periphery, indicating a British manufacturer known for military and public address systems. The collection is constructed primarily from black plastic/bakelite, gray painted metal alloys, leather/suede, and both rubber- and cloth-insulated wiring. A separate bundle of tangled, cloth-wrapped cords terminating in a multi-pin connector is also included.
