A lot comprising two heavily decorated metal vessels. The first item is a circular, ring-form container, likely intended as a bowl or kashkul. It features a white metal exterior, possibly a silver-toned alloy or plating, decorated with dense repoussé work including bands of beading and a twisted rope motif. The interior base appears to be copper or brass, exhibiting significant oxidation. The second item is an oval, shallow dish designed as an ashtray, confirmed by two integrated cigarette rests on the rim. This item also features a white metal exterior with intricate, repeating geometric and scrolling stamped or repoussé decoration around its body. Both objects exhibit a traditional style of metalwork. No legible hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible.
