A collection of thirty-four pieces of mid-century Japanese china dinnerware in the Carnation pattern, attributed by market consensus to Royal Court. The pattern features a floral design of pink and magenta carnation sprays and gray-green foliage against a white ground. The pieces are finished with a high gloss glaze and gold trim along the rims. The visible backstamp on the pieces identifies the manufacturer as Three Crown China, Japan, Carnation. The collection includes various sized plates, bowls, and serving pieces, such as a large two-compartment oval serving dish, a gravy boat resting on its underplate, and a covered serving dish (base and lid).
