A collection of sporting awards, presentation pieces, and related items, primarily associated with golf and inscribed to members of the Nicholls family, dating from 1908 to 2007. The collection includes two traditional two-handled silver-tone metal cups, both engraved with club insignia (Hornby Hall Golf Club visible) and inscriptions. Also present are two rectangular crystal or glass awards featuring internal 3D laser-etched figures of golfers. The lot further comprises multiple plaques and trophy bases constructed from wood, brass-tone metal, and composite materials. Specific historical inscriptions noted include Corporation Cup 2nd 1908, John Bull & St. Baskervy Shield Winner 1937, and multiple achievements attributed to J.R. Nicholls. The collection also features two blue velvet presentation boxes, one containing a circular medal/buckle, and three separate trophy bases (one red, two dark wood). One oblong wooden base commemorates a Hole In One achievement (dated 1993) and rests a single white Tour Edition golf ball. A small shield plaque depicting tennis rackets is also included, referencing a S.I.T.C. Winner. The latest inscription references the John Kean Trophy Winners 2007.
