A collection of English Bone China tea ware manufactured by Simpsons Potters under the Royal Ascot designation, in the Cardinal Green pattern. The lot consists of six teacups and eleven assorted saucers and side plates (five smaller and six larger). Each piece is characterized by a broad mint green band surrounding a central polychrome floral bouquet featuring pink roses and various other flowers. The pieces are heavily decorated with ornate 22-carat gold gilding applied to the rims, handles, and feet. The material and decoration quality are confirmed by a visible backstamp reading “Bone China, 22 CT GOLD, MADE IN ENGLAND,” enclosed within a wreath beneath a crown motif.
