A pair of commemorative military statuettes produced by the Royal Hampshire Art Foundry. Each figure is cast in pewter with a silver-toned finish and mounted on a tiered, dark stained wood plinth. The figures are approximately 4 inches in height, excluding the base. The first statuette depicts a modern soldier in tactical gear, holding an assault rifle and grenade, commemorating “The Royal Scots / Gulf War / 1990.” The second statuette portrays a soldier or tanker wearing a helmet and radio headset, holding a microphone or handset, commemorating “The 8th King’s / Royal Irish Hussars / El Alamein 1942.”
