A single military presentation statuette, featuring a cast metal figure with a silvered finish. The figure depicts a World War II era communications operator or tank crewman, shown wearing a uniform, helmet, and headset, holding a microphone or handset in his right hand. The metal figurine is secured to a square metal plinth, which is mounted upon a tiered, truncated dark wood base. Affixed to the front of the wooden base is a rectangular metal plaque engraved with the text: The 8th King’s Royal Irish Hussars El Alamein 1942. This commemorates the regiment’s involvement in the Battle of El Alamein. The statuette measures approximately 4 inches in height.
