The figure is constructed from polished metal, likely silver-plated pewter, showing detailed casting of the uniform and equipment. The figure is mounted upon a square metal platform which is affixed to a dark stained wooden plinth. The front of the wooden base features an engraved rectangular metal plaque inscribed with the text: The 24th Warwickshire Reg 1879. The figure stands approximately 4 inches tall.
