A single lidded music box manufactured by Ardleigh Elliott, copyrighted 2001, titled “Dream.” This piece is identified on the base as the “Third issue in Mimi Jobe’s Fairyland Music Box Collection.” The music box is constructed of dark navy blue porcelain or ceramic, styled as a two-handled, globe-shaped urn in the Fantasy style. Decoration includes silver-toned metal handles, trim, and a crown-shaped finial. The body features a central transfer-printed scene depicting a unicorn and a fairy in a dark forest setting. The upper portion is accented with iridescent blue glitter, and a small blue cabochon stone is set at the front. The base is marked with the issue number A1649 and notes that the music box plays the tune “Beautiful Dreamer.”
