A pair of coordinating porcelain items from the Lena Liu’s Enchanted Wings Heirloom Porcelain Music Box Collection, dated 2001. The set includes a hexagonal lidded music box and a scalloped underplate. Both pieces feature detailed transfer-printed decoration of butterflies, berries, and pastel florals set against grayish-green and pink grounds. The pieces are heavily accented by bright gold trim on the rims. The music box stands on four ornate gold feet and is topped with a small black butterfly finial. The underside of the lidded box bears black printed text identifying the piece as “Flights Of Fancy,” the “Premier Issue in the Lena Liu’s Enchanted Wings Heirloom Porcelain Music Box Collection,” with a “Music Selection: Wind Beneath My Wings,” dated ©2001 Ardleigh Elliott, and numbered Z46526.
