A collection of four items of mixed vintage military and association memorabilia. The lot includes a rectangular bar pin featuring blue enamel or plastic inlay with the designation “SIGNALMAN” rendered in yellow lettering. Also present is a dark metal regimental badge designed as an eight-pointed star with a central circular motif enclosing crossed blades. This badge is inscribed with “THE BLACK WATCH,” “ROYAL HIGHLAND REGIMENT OF CANADA ASSOCIATION,” and the Latin motto “NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT” (No one provokes me with impunity). The collection further contains two metallic fobs. The first fob is a round, tarnished brass or bronze disc depicting a relief profile of a canine head. The second fob is a copper novelty item, consistent with the type known as a cut coin pin or trench art, created from a hand-cut coin, likely a UK penny, shaped into the silhouette of a seated Britannia figure and bearing the visible date “1928.”
