A contemporary decorative figurine produced by Veronese Design, depicting a kneeling Knight Templar or Crusader in a defensive stance. The sculpture is cast in cold-cast bronze or polyresin, finished with a dark bronze patina accented by coppery tones on the helmet and belt. The knight is realistically rendered wearing chainmail armor and a surcoat prominently marked with a red cross on the chest and back. The figure grips a battle axe and is set upon a rugged, rocky base. The base is etched with the copyright mark “© 2018 Veronese.” The underside is covered with a black velvet felt repeating the gilded “VERONESE DESIGN” logo.
