A glazed porcelain figural group depicting two Borzoi (Russian Wolfhounds) hounds mid-run, mounted on a rectangular base. The sculpture is attributed to Karl Tutter for Hutschenreuther. The dogs feature white coats with contrasting patches, one russet/orange-brown and the other dark gray/black. The underside bears a green stamped Hutschenreuther logo featuring the lion and the year ‘1914,’ accompanied by the text “HUTSCHENREUTHER GERMANY KUNSTABTEILUNG” (Art Department) and the model number ’12.’ The piece is incised with the designer’s name “K. TUTTER” and retains an adhesive paper label reading “Lorenz Hutschenreuther Kunstabteilung 1272/21.” Possible Repair??
